Indirect Tax - Global Trade Operations -- Senior Responsibilities

Execute Harmonized System (HS) Classification Projects Drive Free Trade Agreement (FTA) qualification and solicitation initiatives Audit customs brokers and third-party providers to uphold high standards of trade compliance Research customs and international trade issues Perform customs compliance work for clients Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, international relations or a related trade operations management field Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail and strong critical thinking Collaborative spirit and a dedication to positive team dynamics Industry-specific certifications or licenses are viewed favorably Approximately 4+ years of related work experience in industry, a professional services firm, a Fortune 500 company or a major importer or exporter Excellent organizational skills, motivation, and a positive attitude Proficiency in a technology-enabled environment Willingness to travel as needed, and working in a balanced hybrid environment Ideally You’ll Also Have

Process, document, and oversee FTA documentation requests with precision and efficiency Accurately classify products in accordance with the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) Foster proactive communication with suppliers, clients, and third-party service providers to ensure seamless exchange of FTA documentation and classification information Perform meticulous reviews of trade documentation to ensure adherence to Customs Regulations and create clear audit trails Provide support for daily FTA and classification inquiries Develop, analyze, and interpret KPIs; assemble quarterly business review reports; manage ad hoc data inquiries Identify and advocate for process improvements and operational efficiencies Researching customs and international trade issues Advising clients on customs compliance issues and potential duty savings strategies Understanding of customs compliance regulations and best practices CCS or Licensed Customs Broker certification Experience in professional services with ability to listen to client needs and develop value propositions What We Look For

Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with performance-based rewards. Base salary ranges: US-wide $81,700–$135,000; NYC Metro/Washington State/California (excluding Sacramento) $98,100–$153,500. Salaries determined by factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. Total Rewards include medical/dental, pension and 401(k), and paid time off options.
