Contract Position Overview
We are seeking two Senior Full-Stack Application Developers with extensive experience in enterprise-level .NET, Java, and C# web application development. The role will focus on developing, maintaining, and enhancing critical applications that support public safety and healthcare systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, SSRS/SSIS, ETL, and hands-on knowledge of complex system integrations. Prior experience with highly regulated environments and government/public sector projects is strongly preferred. Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise .NET and Java applications. Provide full-stack development support, including integration, database management, and troubleshooting. Administer and support critical systems such as NextGen EHR, offender management systems, and criminal justice dashboards. Manage SQL Server databases, including stored procedures, triggers, SSRS, SSIS, and ETL workflows. Configure and maintain Team Foundation Server (TFS) for source control and collaboration. Oversee IIS and Windows Server performance, configuration, and security. Troubleshoot and resolve issues by reproducing workflows and conducting root cause analysis. Ensure applications meet compliance, regulatory, and security requirements. Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather, document, and translate requirements into scalable solutions. Produce technical documentation and present updates to stakeholders. Contribute to SDLC activities in both Agile and Waterfall project environments. Qualifications
10+ years of experience in enterprise .NET, Java, and C# development. 7+ years of SQL Server (T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS, ETL) experience. 3+ years of NextGen EHR system administration. 3–5 years of experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS). Experience with systems such as OCMS, Criminal Justice Dashboards, CCH, OpenText RightFax, and OpenText Quality Center. IIS and Windows Server administration experience. Strong skills in data modeling, warehousing, and ETL processes. Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies. Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. Prior experience with government or highly regulated industries. Previous work in environments with regulatory/security compliance requirements. Experience training users and supporting new system rollouts. Leadership in coordinating cross-functional teams. Ability to learn new technologies quickly in a fast-paced environment.
