Overview
This is a transitional role within the Finance team, starting with learning and contributing to daily processes and progressing toward direct oversight of financial operations for The Wilson Law Group. The firm is growing with two law firms and one closing and title firm, each engaged in different lines of business. You will collaborate with leaders across the firm to provide timely and accurate financial information to the CFO and management team, balancing hands-on work with increasing leadership responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
Develop a strong understanding of the finance processes across all Wilson entities and how they connect with operations.
Produce accurate, timely financial statements and special reports in compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations.
Partner closely with the CFO on budgeting, audits, and financial planning.
Oversee finance team personnel, fostering communication, mentorship, and teamwork.
Ensure effective internal controls, cash management, and financial data integrity.
Coordinate staff management, forecasting, and financial reporting for projects and initiatives.
Support the CFO on strategic projects and provide leadership across financial operations.
Qualifications
Solid understanding of financial statements, controls, and GAAP.
Skilled in financial analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting software; comfortable with new technology.
Clear communicator with the ability to work well across teams and management levels.
Prior audit experience in a CPA firm is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
4+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
