Join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career where your ambition drives your success. Our Professional Sales Representatives earn on average $65K+ annually. Competitive earnings potential includes an hourly base wage plus uncapped commissions on all written sales. Training Pay: $20 per hour for 2-6 weeks (no commissions). Average annual earning potential after training: $50,000 - $70,000+ (base and commission). Key Responsibilities

Contribute to store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories and services offered by La-Z-Boy Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to achieve established Design program sales goals Consistently execute the La-Z-Boy selling process and strive to provide a favorable experience to all customers Develop and utilize sales skills and principles including approach, rapport building, needs discovery, customized portfolio presentations, handling objections, closing, follow-up, and ongoing contact with customers Maximize store promotions, marketing initiatives, and grassroots programs Maintain strong knowledge of features and benefits of existing and new product lines Design Program

Schedule professional home consultations to present customized room designs and recommendations, including sample fabrics, furniture, tables, and accessory selections Execute and champion the Design process following established guidelines Support design-related functions in the store Customer Focus

Provide the highest level of customer service to all customers Ensure an informative and positive experience by using good customer service skills and product knowledge while following the selling process Utilize tools to ensure customer satisfaction and future follow-up Make sound business decisions to deliver customer satisfaction and promote teamwork Respond to incoming phone calls and emails Assist in handling customer issues and/or complaints with appropriate solutions People

Maintain positive working relationships with store staff Assist in training and developing new peers on product knowledge and selling skills to achieve store goals Promote and champion a culture of sales and service Operational Excellence

Maintain the store’s visual appearance, showroom displays, and cleanliness; manage catalogs and design center fabrics Accurately complete order information, deposits and fees, and research payments and deliveries Complete daily system logs and maintain knowledge of company standards, products, and processes Schedule and coordinate deliveries with customers Open and close the store Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills Strong interpersonal skills to communicate, build rapport, and influence Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills Ability to manage time and conflicting priorities Team player with the ability to work with others Ability to work the schedule dictated by business needs; evenings, weekends and holidays as required Initiative to meet goals and stay motivated Strong attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Preferred Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field Supervisory Responsibilities

Training Pay: $20 per hour for 2-6 weeks (no commission) Average Annual Earnings After Training: $50,000 - $70,000 (base plus commission) Total Compensation Range: $37,440 - $80,000+ (varies by location and performance) Post-Training Pay

Base Pay: $18 per hour (varies by store location) Commission: UNCAPPED on written sales Commissions: 2 - 3% on written sales The Total Compensation Range is based on local minimum wage and potential earnings, influenced by location, performance, qualifications, and experience.
