Your role with the company The Sous Chef is responsible for assisting in managing all culinary operations of the restaurant. Primary duties and responsibilities include:
Ensures strict compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen
Maintains exceptionally high standards of food quality and presentation, ensuring every dish meets the restaurant’s prestigious reputation
Continuously innovates and inspires the culinary team, encouraging creativity and excellence
Supports innovative menus that highlight seasonal and premium ingredients
Train, supervise, and support kitchen staff to keep the team running smoothly
Help manage food prep, scheduling, ordering, inventory, and food quality with culinary team
Background profile
2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef with an upscale or fine dining full-service restaurant
Able to work under pressure with ease, especially during very busy meal periods
Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
Passionate, energetic, detail oriented, and a love for hospitality
2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef with an upscale casual or fine dining full-service restaurant
