Our group is focused on building and supporting DevOps pipelines for Enterprise Payments systems. About the Role

The AWS Architect interfaces with customers to identify their needs and then works with various departments from network engineers, support and operations, to ensure a plan is in motion to improve the customer\'s experience. The Architect balances safety, design, and practicality, and researches advanced technology for best practices to find cost-effective solutions. This job is responsible for defining an architectural vision and solution aligned to the enterprise architecture strategy, technology, and platform choices. Key responsibilities include describing the solution intent/operating environment, evaluating system impacts, determining primary systems/sub-systems and their interfaces, and assisting with end-to-end solution design. Job expectations include defining non-functional requirements/architectural runway to support new epics/features and ensuring solutions are fit for purpose by working with stakeholders and service providers. Responsibilities

Work closely with Information Technology professionals to ensure hardware is available for projects and functioning properly Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including time and scope involved Assist other department engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and presenting them to the team Establish a framework for contributions from various departments and facilitate collaboration Analyze current technologies and develop steps and processes to improve Document and monitor requirements needed to implement proposed updates related to customer experience Collaborate with project management teams to monitor progress and implementation of initiatives Consult with business and operations to identify challenges and opportunities to improve technology use, and align solution intent with an evolving backlog of technology change Work with product management and stakeholders to plan and prioritize technology-focused backlog items for the architecture runway Perform design and code reviews to ensure non-functional requirements (security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, reliability) are met Lead rapid high-level architecture shaping with evolving business requirements Educate team members on technology practices and best practices to create innovative solutions Clarify architecture and assist with system design for development teams to support implementation Use best practices, templates, and documentation to create architectural designs and suggest improvements Skills & Qualifications

Terraform Required Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Communication, Information Technology or equivalent work experience 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a similar role Strong understanding of AWS Well-Architected Framework Experience with core AWS services: EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda Proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC) principles Knowledge of networking concepts (VPNs, VPCs, subnets, routing) Experience with infrastructure as code tools Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Strong problem-solving and communication skills Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and container services (ECS, EKS) Desired Qualifications

Experience with JAVA Full Stack Development on UNIX & Windows Automation on Windows (PowerShell, Bladelogic, etc.) DEVOPS (Environment Management & Application Releases on Windows) App middleware Architecture (IIS/.NET) on Java Network architecture Hardware architecture Capabilities
