Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world's most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, and they are seeking a Solutions Architect to empower innovative startups. The role involves architecting, designing, and building scalable solutions on the AWS platform while collaborating with startup customers to align technical requirements with business objectives. Responsibilities: • Work closely with startup customers to understand their technical requirements, business objectives, and growth plans, and then architect AWS-based solutions that align with their goals. • Lead technical discussions, present best practices, and guide startups on AWS architecture, services, and solutions to ensure scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, and Support to provide comprehensive solutions to startups, addressing their specific needs and driving successful outcomes. • Design and implement proof-of-concepts (POCs) and reference architectures to showcase the value of AWS services and demonstrate their potential impact on the customer's business. • Stay up-to-date with AWS services, industry trends, and best practices, share this knowledge within the team, and drive continuous improvement and innovation. • Participate in workshops, webinars, and events to evangelize AWS solutions for startups and contribute to the growth of the AWS startup ecosystem. Qualifications: Required: • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience • 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience Preferred: • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries • Experience with AWS technologies • Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud Company: Launched in 2006, Amazon Web Services (AWS) began exposing key infrastructure services to businesses in the form of web services -- now widely known as cloud computing.
