We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time position of
Senior Principal Test Systems Execution Lead Engineer
located onsite in Tucson, Arizona. This position requires experience in a lab environment to work with weapon test system designers to understand requirements, design solutions, integrate, and deploy the systems to help support test and tactical software development, testing, and delivery of missiles to the warfighter.
What You Will Learn
System level test setup and operation across the different environments within development or production.
Experience working across multi-disciplined groups of engineers.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of ten (10) years prior relevant experience OR an advanced degree and seven (7) years of experience.
Experience leading the functionalities of Test Systems Engineering or equivalent Engineering experience for both hardware and test software development, integration, verification, validation, and maintenance activities within production, manufacturing, product qualification environments.
Experience with leading design, development and/or integration of test equipment.
Active and transferrable US government issued Secret security clearance (not interim) is required prior to start date. US citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Strong organization, coordination, planning, teaming skills, as well as written and oral communication skills.
Experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
Knowledge of or experience with equipment rack assembly, cable assembly/installation, electronics maintenance, data acquisition systems, oscilloscopes, bus analyzers, logic analyzers, network analyzers, and/or spectrum analyzers.
Experience troubleshooting systems using test equipment such as data acquisition systems, oscilloscopes, bus analyzers, logic analyzers, network analyzers, and/or spectrum analyzers.
Experience leading multi-disciplined teams.
Experience with Agile Process and gate reviews.
Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
Agile Methodologies understanding.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits depend on the business unit and whether the role is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
