Addison Group is supporting a mission-driven nonprofit in hiring a temporary Associate Director, Impact & Learning to cover a maternity leave. This organization is dedicated to advancing climate-related initiatives through philanthropy, research, and measurable impact. Job Description
The Associate Director will partner with program directors and philanthropic teams to design evaluation frameworks, track progress toward goals, and communicate results to funders. This role requires someone with a strong climate and philanthropy background who can adapt quickly, manage multiple projects, and translate research and data into clear, actionable insights. Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with program teams to develop proposals, reports, and impact measurement tools. Create surveys, dashboards, and metrics to evaluate program success. Analyze data and produce clear reports and presentations for funders and stakeholders. Facilitate learning workshops and support knowledge-sharing initiatives. Ensure equity and inclusion principles are integrated into evaluation frameworks. Qualifications
Proven background in philanthropy and climate-related work. Advanced understanding of research methodologies and impact measurement. Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills. Ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams. Must have significant applied professional experience (not academic-only). Contract length: 7 months (includes 1 month of training + 6 months of coverage). Interview process: Virtual interviews; finalists will complete a thought exercise. Fully remote position.
