We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) specializing in Gastroenterology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services in the field of gastroenterology. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of various healthcare projects. Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with gastrointestinal conditions. Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans based on diagnosis and medical history. Perform endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies and gastroscopies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively. Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding treatment options and preventive measures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients. Participate in medical rounds, case conferences, and other team meetings as required. Adhere to all relevant medical protocols, guidelines, and regulations. Requirements
Medical degree from an accredited institution and valid MD license. Board certification in Gastroenterology. Proven experience working as a Gastroenterology MD in a clinical setting. Excellent diagnostic and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment. Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and patient needs. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-5p Weekend call shifts Daily Volume: 15 scopes Duties: Scheduled outpatient procedures, ER consults, rounding, etc. Support Staff: APP EMR: Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
