We are currently seeking experienced MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Gastroenterology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and treating patients with digestive system disorders. Your expertise will be vital in providing high-quality medical care and improving the overall health of our patients. You will be involved in a variety of gastroenterology projects, from conducting diagnostic procedures to developing treatment plans.

Responsibilities:
Conduct consultations and physical examinations of patients with gastrointestinal problems.
Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and imaging studies.
Interpret test results and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
Prescribe medications and recommend lifestyle changes to manage gastrointestinal conditions.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in gastroenterology treatments and technologies.
Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Board certification in Gastroenterology.
Valid state medical license to practice as a Gastroenterologist.
Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating various gastrointestinal disorders.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interactions.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills for accurate diagnosis.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of Gastroenterology.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts
Call shifts required, fellows take first call
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
High volume of EUS and ERCP cases
Full subspecialty support
Academic position
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
