Harriman . Harriman is growing! We are looking for an Architectural Designer for our PK-12 studio to join our team and our full-service practice. This position supports a hybrid-work environment with opportunities for collaboration across teams. Harriman’s multi-disciplinary practice works closely with integrated engineering groups to design relevant and innovative solutions to human needs. Our work is challenging, creative, and grounded in collaboration, knowledge, ingenuity and beauty. Responsibilities
Work in close coordination with the PM and/or lead designer to continue development and understanding of the architectural design process and Harriman standards. Assist project leadership to the extent possible within the individual’s capability and experience. Assist in developing project design as determined by the PM with oversight from the PM, lead architect, and/or supervisor. Strive for autonomy on basic tasks including task management and self-editing for advancement. Qualifications
1 year of architectural experience minimum. Baseline knowledge of the architectural design and documentation process; ability to work under direct supervision and guidance of multiple project leaders. Education requirements: a 2-year associate degree or 3 years of working experience under a licensed architect. A 4-year NCARB-accredited degree is preferred. There are no licensure requirements for this position. Able to work collaboratively in a team environment. Software Proficiencies
