Overview

Traveling Executive Director role at Cedarhurst Senior Living. This is a full-time position requiring frequent overnight travel. The base pay range is $95,000.00/yr — $95,000.00/yr. Actual pay will be based on skills and experience. Cedarhurst, a regional healthcare provider and true friend of older adults, seeks a service-minded, career-oriented individual to join our team. Responsibilities

Provide training to existing Executive Directors to improve performance. Assist with Cedarhurst acquisitions; coordinate onboarding of Executive Directors to ensure alignment with Cedarhurst policies and procedures. Mentor existing Executive Directors and support those who are struggling in their roles. Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, including group presentations. Lead, develop, and retain a strong team; oversee staffing and operations in assigned communities. Demonstrate a warm, outgoing, compassionate personality and a positive approach to change and improvements. Manage employee and resident relations with strong interpersonal and leadership skills; handle confidential information in compliance with HIPAA. Maintain organizational discipline with multi-tasking and attention to detail; stay calm under pressure. Engage in sales/marketing to support occupancy and revenue goals; ensure high customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance. Directly manage three to five subordinate supervisors and a total workforce of approximately 30–50 employees across departments (Housekeeping, Resident Care, Maintenance, Dietary, and Office). Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree preferred. State-required license/certification for operating an Assisted Living/Memory Care center is required; licensure must be in good standing. Five (5) years or more of experience in a senior care community with leadership experience preferred. At least one (1) year of management or supervision experience preferred. Ability to make business decisions in the best interest of the company and its employees. Proven regulatory compliance competence to keep properties in compliance with all regulatory agencies. Strong servant leadership, listening, empathy, awareness, and persuasive skills across regions. Proactive problem-solving aligned with company vision, values, policies, and standards. Ability to work with residents and families and to promote a high level of customer service, hospitality, curiosity, and friendliness. Willingness to travel frequently and stay overnight as required. Must be able to remain calm in stressful situations and handle interruptions with professionalism. Employment details
