Finance & Ops Associate (Financial Services/CRE) This role is with a commercial real estate debt division of a large nationally renown alternative asset manager. We are looking for a CRE Finance & Operations Associate to join its team in North Atlanta. You will facilitate the day-to-day operations for a diverse and expanding portfolio of complex debt investments secured by commercial real estate and leveraged through a variety of financing structures. A background in real estate finance operations, accounting, fund administration, or investments would be ideal. The team is well-built with an excellent culture and benefits! Responsibilities
Approve and book monthly and quarterly servicer remittance information into system Reconcile daily cash activity to the activity recorded into system Obtain approvals and prepare wire memos for borrower draws, counterparty expenses, and intercompany funds movement Participate in the onboarding of new investments, including data capture, documentation, system integration, and funding complex transactions Assist in overseeing commercial real estate assets, managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external counterparties to ensure timely and accurate reporting, cash management, and reconciliations Prepare monthly and quarterly investment portfolio analytics, examining modeled-vs-actual performance Report to the portfolio operations team on deal pipeline and existing portfolio statuses Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or associated business degree 1+ years of experience in Loan Servicing, Banking, Commercial Real Estate, or portfolio accounting Strong written and verbal communication skills High standards and ability to meet time sensitive deadlines Proficiency in Excel Additional details
