Labor & Employment Associate - Houston Our client, an Am Law 100 law firm, is seeking an Associate with 2 years of labor & employment litigation experience to join their nationally recognized Labor & Employment Practice Group. This position is based in the firm’s Houston, Texas office. The estimated salary for this position is $240,000 (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors. Qualifications
2 years of Labor & Employment Litigation experience Experience with temporary restraining order and temporary injunction expedited relief proceedings, as well as trade secret misappropriation and noncompete litigation wage and hour class action litigation, and single plaintiff employment litigation Strong legal writing skills and experience with discovery, motion practice, and researching and drafting pleadings, motions and other court filings required Experience with trial preparation in both state and federal courts and participation in settlement conferences and negotiations preferred Team-oriented with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic with demonstrated client relationship and business development skills and an ability to thrive in busy, collegial environments JD from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials Admitted to the Texas Bar (and in good standing) About Us
