Responsibilities
Manage your own docket of complex insurance coverage cases from inception through resolution, taking ownership of key tasks such as analyzing policy language, drafting detailed coverage opinions, and crafting persuasive motions and pleadings.
Collaborate with partners, senior attorneys, and litigation teams to coordinate strategy and provide nuanced legal insight.
Prepare for and attend depositions; argue dispositive motions in court; engage with clients to develop litigation strategies; maintain proactive client communications.
Conduct in-depth legal research and draft memoranda to support and sharpen the firm\'s approach to coverage disputes.
Gain mentorship while contributing to a practice group known for excellence in insurance coverage litigation.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the Massachusetts State Bar.
3-6 years of experience focused on insurance coverage litigation, preferably in a law firm environment.
Proven ability to manage cases from inception through resolution.
Strong legal research, analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Experience drafting comprehensive coverage opinions and handling complex coverage disputes involving commercial general liability and other lines of insurance.
