Overview
Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellow - (250002NW) The Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship Program is a 1-year ACGME accredited fellowship at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. The fellowship is designed to develop expertise in the anesthetic care of patients of all ages with congenital heart disease and to enable graduates to practice independently with proficiency in all six ACGME core competencies as they relate to pediatric cardiac anesthesiology. The program includes twelve one-month rotations at Children’s National Hospital and provides exposure to cardiac operating rooms, the cardiac catheterization lab, and cardiac MRI, with additional rotations in Perfusion, Pediatric Echocardiography, and Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care.
