ZeniMax is seeking a visionary Head of Production/SVP of Production to lead production strategy and execution across our studios. This executive will be responsible for driving operational excellence, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of AAA titles across multiple genres and platforms. This role is part of the ZeniMax senior leadership team and will partner closely with Studio Heads and their respective studio & project leadership teams to provide support, guidance, and oversight for all internal and external ZMI game productions. You will nurture and protect each studio’s unique approach to game development while ensuring consistent visibility into project progress to manage the ZMI portfolio with discipline and predictability and deliver games at the highest possible level of quality. You will support the game productions, connecting across the studios to leverage cross-studio collaboration, resourcing, and best practices in ways that make sense for the studios to accelerate their success, the success of their people, and the success of their games. The Head of Production for ZMI will offer an extensive set of internal and external production experience, strong budgeting and business management skills, and a history of leadership and collaboration in the creative space. Together with the ZMI Leadership team, you are a staunch supporter and champion for each studio. You endeavor to learn about and appreciate their culture and support the Studio Heads and their leaders to nurture and protect their respective cultures and their creative teams. Lead and evolve production strategy across ZeniMax studios, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality games on time and within budget Partner with studio heads, creative directors, and technical leads to align development goals with business objectives Establish and manage the internal process of gates and approvals for ZMI. Partner with ZMI COO and Marketing Leadership to manage portfolio planning and to maximize the value of our portfolio of games. Partner with production leads across multiple projects and studios, building scalable production practices Own milestone planning, resource allocation, and risk management across the portfolio Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance predictability, efficiency, and team health Champion cross-studio collaboration and knowledge sharing, fostering a culture of transparency and continuous improvement Support live operations and post-launch content planning for ongoing titles Manage external development partnerships and co-development pipelines where applicable Travel regularly to studios to build deep relationships and understand local needs and dynamics Represent ZeniMax production leadership within the broader Microsoft Gaming ecosystem Qualifications
15+ years experience in Gaming. 10+ years of Executive Producer or similar leadership experience. 5+ years experience working with partners, including with partners across international borders. 5+years experience overseeing distributed work Deep understanding of game development pipelines, tools, and production methodologies Demonstrated ability to attract, develop, and coach diverse and inclusive teams. Salary Range
SVP of Production - The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $350,000 - $475,000 per year.
