Overview
The Data and Analytics (D&A) Head of Strategy will work with the Co-Heads of D&A, the D&A Leadership Team and the Group Strategy Team to develop and deliver the D&A strategy, aligned to the Group strategy. The Head of Strategy for D&A at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) plays a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction and growth of the Data and Analytics division. D&A Strategy
Key responsibilities: Lead the development and execution of D&A-wide strategy in partnership with the D&A Leadership Team and Group Strategy, aligning it with the broader organizational goals. This includes identifying new market opportunities, setting long-term objectives, and ensuring the successful execution of strategic initiatives; informed by market intelligence, customer insights, competitive analysis, and strategic foresight. Drive innovation within D&A by identifying emerging technologies and trends in partnership with Product teams. Work with Product teams to oversee the development of new products and services that meet the evolving needs of customers and enhance the company\'s value proposition. Drive strategic planning cycles, board-level engagement, and the evaluation of M&A, investment, and venture opportunities in partnership with the D&A Leadership Team. Partner with Finance, Transformation and Product Teams to align growth forecasts, customer segmentation, and market coverage strategies. Work closely with the Group Strategy Team to ensure divisional strategy underpins the group strategy. The D&A organisation is comprised of c1,600 colleagues, based in over 40 countries globally. The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry experts, and other relevant parties is also important. Innovation and Creativity : The ability to drive innovation within the data and analytics division by identifying emerging technologies and trends is crucial. This includes overseeing the development of new products and services that meet the evolving needs of customers. Financial Acumen : Strong financial management skills are necessary to manage the budget for the data and analytics division. This includes ensuring that resources are allocated effectively, monitoring financial performance, and making strategic investments that drive growth. Risk Management : The ability to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with strategic initiatives is important. This includes developing contingency plans and ensuring that the division is prepared to respond to changing market conditions and unforeseen challenges. Market Knowledge : A deep understanding of the data and analytics industry, including market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape, is essential. LSEG is committed to offering competitive compensation and benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $214,700 - $357,900. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) or bonus plan. Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job-related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
