We are seeking a highly experienced
Azure Cloud Architect
to join our Cloud Technology Center. This role is ideal for a professional with at least
12 years of IT experience and 6+ years in cloud technologies , specializing in Azure with AWS as an added advantage. The Azure Cloud Architect will play a key role in designing, building, and managing cloud infrastructure across
Azure (must-have)
and
AWS (add-on)
platforms. You will leverage cloud expertise to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions that align with business goals and support transformational cloud initiatives. Role Overview of Azure Cloud Architect
As an
Azure Cloud Architect , you will be responsible for cloud migrations, solution design, and architecture across enterprise environments. You will define cloud design principles, establish governance models, and ensure compliance with security best practices. Additionally, you will provide leadership and mentorship within the Cloud Technology Center to enable the success of engineering teams. Key Responsibilities of Azure Cloud Architect
Lead cloud migrations including
Safe Harbor migrations
and legacy on-premises transitions to cloud.
Develop and execute migration strategies following governance, compliance, and security frameworks.
Define and guide
cloud design patterns, architecture principles, and DevSecOps practices .
Translate business and technical requirements into Azure or AWS cloud services.
Standardize deployment models for
networking, storage, security, and private endpoints .
Produce technical design artifacts including diagrams, solution documents, and environment specifications.
Design, develop, and implement
cloud architectures on Azure or AWS (IaaS, PaaS, DBaaS) .
Integrate cloud solutions seamlessly with enterprise infrastructure and engineering tools.
Apply CloudOps practices for efficient resource utilization and cost management.
Develop layered, scalable, and resilient multi-tier cloud architectures.
Drive adoption of
DevSecOps, CloudOps, and Platform Engineering
practices.
Implement observability using tools like
Azure Monitor or AWS CloudWatch .
Mentor and support engineers, fostering knowledge-sharing and best practices.
Provide technical proposals including cost and effort estimation aligned with business goals.
Required Skills for Azure Cloud Architect
Azure Cloud expertise (must-have)
with additional AWS experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and DBaaS services.
Deep experience in datacenter migrations and cloud transitions.
Hands-on implementation of
DevSecOps practices .
Proficiency with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of build and release management.
Strong expertise in automation tools such as
Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation .
Experience with
Azure AD, MFA, SSO, and identity management .
Familiarity with Microsoft and AWS Well-Architected Frameworks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications and Experience
12+ years in IT
with at least 6 years in cloud technologies.
Proven success in
cloud architecture design and implementation .
Solid track record in
proposal management, cost estimation, and project delivery .
Experience in
hybrid or multi-cloud environments .
Strong leadership, mentorship, and team collaboration skills.
