Travel and Transportation Specialist, Claims role at
ZemiTek . This position serves as a Travel and Transportation Specialist to provide consultation and assistance to senior leadership and management as an expert advisor on transportation procedures, standards, policy, certification programs, and safety and regulations. The role supports an effective and efficient drawdown process of all remaining aspects of the agency's legacy operations related to USAID travel and transportation's E2 travel system, travel policy, personal property claims, transportation of household effects, disposal and related programs. The position assists management in coordination, tracking, disposition, and close out of remaining tasks associated with the drawdown of overseas USAID travel operations, ensuring knowledge transfers, accurate records, and coordination towards the resolution of handover actions supporting USAID and the Department of State in finalizing the separation and transition of travel documents and transition of the CWT E2 travel System. Personal Property Claims Adjudication E2 Travel System Administrative Manager Assist with Passport and Visa Facilitation External Coordination as Expert in USAID travel regulations Support Management with Oversight of Legacy Drawdown Tasks Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience Secret clearance or ability to obtain one Knowledge of federal travel regulations, transportation of Household effects policies Experience with interpreting rules and regulations regarding the Federal Travel Regulations (FTR), 14 FAM 640 – Claims for Private Personal Property Losses Proven ability to assist in the management of the E2 Travel system, Passport/Visa program and the transportation of household effects inclusive of Shipping and Permanent storage of effects within a complex federal agency or comparable organization Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with a focus to convey information internally/external stakeholders in a clear and concise manner Employment Details
Location: Washington, DC Work Type: Full-time/Hybrid (telework eligible) Salary Range: $112,015.00 - $124,987.55 (starting salary determined based on candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and education) Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret clearance; Active Secret clearance preferred EEO & Accommodations
