It has world-class research programs in biomedical and life sciences, engineering, social sciences, education, law, and humanities. Responsibilities
Establish, implement, maintain, and oversee Wayne State University's research integrity program, ensuring compliance with requirements related to research misconduct, responsible conduct of research (RCR), human and animal research protections, conflict of interest, export controls, and research security. Oversee the Office of Environmental Health and Safety. Ensure policies are current and align with applicable requirements across all areas of responsibility. Serve as a strategic leader who develops innovative approaches to promote a culture of compliance across the university's research enterprise. Provide vision, leadership, and oversight as the University-wide resource in risk assessment and risk mitigation discussions relating to research misconduct, conflict of interest, RCR, and research integrity. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. At least 7–10 years of experience in higher education research compliance, responsible conduct of research, and conflict of interest. High-level strategic analysis and proactive leadership abilities; ability to engage with stakeholders across the institution. To Apply
