About the role
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll research target accounts, craft smart multi-channel outreach, and spark high-quality conversations with prospective customers. You’ll use your business acumen to uncover pain points, position Ambient.ai’s value, and convert interest into qualified meetings and pipeline. It’s a fast path to mastering the fundamentals of sales, leadership, and executive communication. What you’ll do
Work closely and collaboratively with Regional Sales Managers to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies Conduct high-volume prospecting to qualify leads through cold calls, emails, and social media Schedule marketing assessments and discovery meetings for a Regional Sales Manager to further assess a prospect’s business and potential for partnership with Ambient.ai Conduct qualification calls with specific prospects as assigned Prioritizing opportunities and applying appropriate internal resources Use and keep Salesforce up-to-date for lead management and sales forecasting Ensure a timely follow-up with all prospects What you’ll bring
Previous successful sales experience OR a strong desire to begin a sales career A track record of high achievement Excellent written and verbal communication skills The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with peers who challenge you to be better The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals Are naturally curious and passionate The technical aptitude to master our sales tools A keenly developed competitive nature “One-speed” energy with a highly self-driven sense of motivation The ability to deal with and thrive on objections and rejection on a daily basis Salary and Equity
At Ambient.ai, we take a market-based approach to compensation. Final offers are based on job-related skills, experience, location, and internal equity. Base salary is just one part of our total rewards package, including stock options and the opportunity to share in the company’s growth. The starting base salary range for this role is: SF Bay Area: $45,000 – $50,000 + commission + equity Why join us
