Reporting to the VP, PMO we are seeking a

Sr. Program Manager, Formulations and Packaging Product Development

to support and organize a growing pipeline of initiatives across internal teams including Packaging, Formulations Product Development, Operations, Marketing, and Creative. This role will manage packaging development programs and support product development from concept to delivery. It requires a passion for cross-functional collaboration, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams to meet business objectives. Keys to Success

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end program management for product lifecycle formulation development and packaging initiatives, from scoping through execution, launch, and post-launch review Own and evolve the stage gate process across formulation programs with clear checkpoints, risk mitigation, and cross-functional alignment Build long-lead program plans that enable ideation, cross-functional efficiencies, and integration of learnings from past initiatives Champion continuous process improvement by optimizing documentation, workflows, and programs while enhancing team collaboration and driving efficiencies with partners Facilitate project activities (kickoffs, status reviews, retrospectives) and surface/resolve risks, blockers, and dependencies Drive cross-functional collaboration among Product Development, Packaging, Creative, Regulatory & Quality, Operations, and Marketing to maintain alignment on milestones and dependencies Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain detailed timelines tied to omni-channel launches Ensure timely delivery of product assets by proactively managing timelines and communicating changes Maintain documentation and tracking tools for packaging and formulation development status; manage approvals, timeline updates, and deliverables Oversee packaging development from concept to commercialization, ensuring brand aesthetics, usability, sustainability, regulatory compliance, quality, and cost targets Manage process optimization across all packaging types for formulation development Support development and qualification of packaging components including sourcing, compatibility testing, compliance, and scalability Oversee 3PL partner readiness and SKU setup to support launches Coordinate with Operations to track demand and transit times across 3PLs, ensuring CX and influencer sample availability for launches Manage launch readiness for products in back-order status with cross-functional alignment for fulfillment, inventory, and customer experience teams Partner with Regulatory to manage international documentation and product registrations Provide retail support for sell sheets, spec sheets, and line reviews Perform additional duties as needed to support program execution and global initiatives Qualifications

5+ years of program or project management experience, with at least 2+ years in full lifecycle formulation product development (primary and secondary packaging) Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle, especially for CPG or personal care products Experience managing timelines and deliverables for formulations development including packaging compatibility, formula readiness, and regulatory requirements Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage with executive leadership, packaging designers, program managers, and all roles across the organization Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while managing multiple initiatives and changing priorities In-depth knowledge of packaging materials and development processes Highly organized, resourceful, and solution-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities Self-starter with initiative and ownership, plus strong team collaboration Familiarity with project management tools like Asana or similar; quick to adapt to new platforms International experience and a global mindset is a plus Benefits and Compensation
