UC San Diego Health, a nationally recognized academic medical center, is actively recruiting board-certified or board-eligible physicians with backgrounds in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine to join our growing network of Ambulatory Express Care Clinics. Sign-on incentives are available. Typical Responsibilities
Provide same-day, walk-in care for patients with low to moderate acuity concerns, including evaluation of upper respiratory infections, minor lacerations, musculoskeletal injuries, abdominal pain, UTIs, and other time-sensitive needs. Offer preventive and wellness services, including health screening exams, medication monitoring, and clearance exams. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within an Express Care clinic. Minimum Qualifications
M.D. or D.O. degree Current California Medical License, or ability and commitment to obtain CA license prior to start date Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Department setting Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Urgent Care Work Details
Worksite: La Jolla Appointment Type: Contract Appointment Percent: 100% Hours: Days, 11 hour shifts, Monday - Sunday Total Openings: 2 Pay Scale: $300,000 - $400,000 per year Policies
