GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This position is at a Depot Level repair facility, performing maintenance on various aircraft types, including but not limited to AV-8, C-130, C-2, E-2, EA-6B, F/A-18, H-1, H-53, H-60, MQ-8, P-3, P-8, T-34, F-35, and V-22. Military intermediate-level experience is a plus. DUTIES

Review blueprints, schematics, and safety procedures while complying with engineering specifications and maintenance instructions utilizing NDMS CONOPS systems. Disassemble, repair, rework, and overhaul various components such as tire/wheel assemblies, brake systems, landing gear, shock absorbers, arresting gear (including tail hooks and launch bars). Repair engine mounts, wing support structures, and other aircraft mechanisms. Rig, adjust, and calibrate aircraft slings and support equipment for all aircraft platforms. Assist engineers with component discrepancies and investigations. Perform final testing and certification of assemblies using hydraulic test benches and support equipment. Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent. A&P license is not required but a plus. Minimum 4 years of aircraft mechanic experience. Experience with E-2 aircraft preferred. Prefer experience from military fixed-wing community or civilian heavy structure background. Experience in heavy structure U.S. Military or FAA/civil aviation. Must have military, intermediate, and/or depot-level maintenance experience. Must provide own tools as required. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be able to obtain a secret clearance. Up to 25% travel may be required. We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post-offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to perform essential duties, including walking, standing, crawling, kneeling, bending, climbing stairs, ramps, ladders, and working stands. Capable of handling objects up to 44 pounds, reading gauges, distinguishing colors, and operating machinery and vehicles. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities. ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS

Work may occur indoors or outdoors around machinery, vehicles, and scaffolds. Conditions include noise, vibration, dust, fumes, and working on uneven surfaces. May require irregular hours. EEO STATEMENT
