Review and analyze ASTM Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and other environmental due diligence reports to identify risks and liabilities Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and municipal environmental issues impacting loan transactions Prepare environmental review memoranda summarizing liabilities and recommendations for follow-up evaluations Assist in developing policies and procedures to limit environmental liabilities related to real estate transactions Serve as a point of contact for internal inquiries regarding environmental policies and project status updates Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering field or equivalent work experience 3-5 years of related environmental work experience; ASTM Phase I ESA experience preferred Strong analytical skills to assess environmental risks and provide recommendations Ability to communicate effectively and document findings clearly Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook Preferred Qualifications
