About the Role
You will help supervise and operate a shared-use, commercial kitchen housing multiple restaurant operators, ensuring that food orders are prepared accurately, quickly, and with great customer experiences. You will oversee the preparation and fulfillment of food orders, maintaining operating standards and oversight of staff. This position reports directly to the Operations Supervisor, Kitchens. Be an owner.
Take ownership of kitchen processes, safety/cleanliness, quality, and training, and ultimately work to improve quality and associated metrics to ensure the best possible outcomes for customers. Lead day-to-day.
Manage ordering and receiving from vendors, store product compliantly based on kitchen operating procedures, prepare customer orders, and ensure the kitchen remains clean. Help improve operations.
Contribute ideas to improve our quality and customer experience. Customer Obsessed:
Support our customers, merchant partners, and dashers with a thoughtful, solution-oriented approach Be flexible . When kitchen-related duties are completed, assist with operations on the warehouse floor. Facility Management
Opening & closing of the facility; receive supplier deliveries and manage inventory Personally clean and organize shared spaces daily including pick-up area, office, bathrooms and breakroom Provide basic maintenance and repairs to facility needed to continue operations Work with DoorDash Support agents to provide technical assistance to merchants (IT, phones, tablets, kitchen equipment, etc.) Food Safety
Standard operating procedures compliance & monitoring. Manage the shared storage areas of the facility Required experience and skills
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, other associates, hourly employees and dashers while making decisions quickly and delegating responsibilities accordingly. Basic skills to make emergency repairs and conduct maintenance on the facility with basic tools provided. You are highly organized, work well under pressure and execute tasks with speed, accuracy and attention to detail Nice to haves
1-2 years of previous experience in the food and beverage industry. At least 1 year of training experience. Working knowledge of MS Office, G Suite, Salesforce and Point-of-Sale Software. Ability to communicate in Spanish Physical Demands

Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.
