Location: On-site Full-Time (Washington, DC) Travel Requirements: Up to 10% Minimal Working Hours: 1st Shift Basic Compensation
$96,000 – $144,000 annually The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, as well as internal parity considerations. Key Responsibilities
Manage program-level financial activities, including overall and WBS funding requirements. Support budgeting, forecasting, and funding allocation across the program’s lifecycle. Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Construct and interpret financial statements in relation to the corporation’s capital structure. Perform valuation analyses to optimize corporate value while mitigating risk. Forecast project values under multiple outcome scenarios to inform strategic decision-making. Develop and refine financial processes, leveraging industry best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy. Provide guidance and support to less-experienced team members as needed. Required
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience). Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in program financial management, budgeting, and forecasting. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling. Strong understanding of capital structure, valuation methods, and corporate finance principles. Ability to analyze complex financial data and present clear, actionable insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. Preferred
Active Secret Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain one is preferred). Experience supporting government or aerospace/defense programs. Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) and other program financial management tools. Proven ability to implement process improvements in financial planning and reporting. Equal Opportunity
