What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Lead media strategy and execution for cybersecurity clients, fostering strong relationships with reporters
Craft and deliver creative media pitches that generate high-quality coverage and thought leadership
Manage tactical execution of cybersecurity-focused PR program elements, including media relations and content
Write and edit impactful cybersecurity-focused content, ensuring technical accuracy and industry relevance
Mentor junior staff and foster an inclusive team culture through collaboration and support
What is Required (Qualifications)
3–5 years of PR/communications experience in an agency setting
Direct experience working with cybersecurity clients or within the security industry
Strong media relationships across tech, business, and security trades
Excellent writing, editing, and content development skills
Confidence using analytics tools and reporting on performance metrics
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience managing client communications, priorities, and deliverables
A collaborative, curious, and client-first mindset
Ability to understand and translate complex cybersecurity topics into compelling media narratives
Demonstrated independence in driving projects and initiatives forward with minimal oversight
