Duties:
Represent clients in complex construction defect litigation matters, including both residential and commercial properties.
Manage and oversee all aspects of case handling from initial investigation through trial.
Collaborate closely with clients, providing legal advice and strategies on construction-related issues.
Draft and review legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
Work closely with junior attorneys, providing mentorship and guidance as needed.
Handle negotiations and settlements in high-stakes construction defect cases.
Contribute to business development efforts and participate in firm-wide initiatives.
Requirements:
A minimum of 6 years of experience in construction defect litigation.
Proven success in managing and resolving complex legal cases.
Excellent legal writing, analytical, and oral communication skills.
Strong record of job stability and positive professional references.
Member in good standing with the California Bar.
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
Skills:
Deep knowledge of construction defect laws and litigation procedures.
Strong client management and communication abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Proven leadership abilities and experience mentoring junior attorneys.
