Job location: San Francisco, CA. Salary: $81,926.00 – $99,528.00. Recruitment ID: CBT-2718-A00023. Responsibilities

Assigns and supervises assistant supervisors and a large group of custodians engaged in performing cleaning tasks in buildings and surrounding areas at various sites. Requisitions and maintains inventory of janitorial supplies, materials and equipment; maintains records of usage manually or by using automated systems. Maintains personnel, time, and vacation/holiday records and work schedules; prepares and evaluates time records and other related reports to ensure staffing and day-to-day operational needs. Develops, updates, and evaluates work and/or safety standards, policies and procedures; enforces standards; suggests improvements; conducts safety trainings. Monitors furniture and equipment moving activities; completes accident forms when necessary; responds to emergency situations. Performs field checks of buildings to ensure quality and progress; inspects and secures public buildings. Receives, investigates, responds to, and resolves complaints regarding custodial services. Evaluates subordinate staff performance; writes evaluations; counsels and participates in disciplinary processes. Coordinates custodial tools and equipment; distributes/s collect keys and supplies to custodial staff. Assists in developing facility maintenance plans and work schedules; inspects and verifies completion of assignments. Acts as a contact for the public and other departments regarding custodial services. Communicates with staff, clients, vendors, and administrators in person or in writing via forms, reports, memos and email. Drives a motor vehicle to reach job sites as needed; plans and supervises custodial operations for special events. Performs related duties as assigned. Qualifications

Two (2) years of verifiable experience as a custodial supervisor (equivalent to City class 2716) supervising a large group of custodial staff; AND Possession of a valid driver’s license. Note:

All appointees must possess and maintain a good driving record. Depending on city vehicle availability, willingness to use a personal vehicle may be necessary. Essential duties

require working varying shifts, weekends and holidays; physical exertion including walking, standing and heavy lifting. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds may be required. One-year full-time employment is equivalent to 2,000 hours. Overtime hours beyond 40 hours per week are not included in the calculation of full-time employment. Education and Experience Verification
