Job Description The SAP Material Master (MM) Functional Consultant will have deep experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly within production planning. They will oversee material master data management, ensuring its integration across manufacturing, purchasing, and production planning modules, and managing the conversion of the Material Master from legacy systems to SAP.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimize SAP Material Master data, ensuring accurate integration with manufacturing, purchasing, and production planning.
Author functional specifications for material master enhancements and configurations.
Oversee and assist with System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including troubleshooting during SIT/UAT and in production.
Support the deployment of SAP solutions and manage material master migration and cutover activities.
Build and present user guides for Integrated Business Process (IBP) and Stand-alone Business Process (SBP) related to Material Master.
Troubleshoot issues in material master data conversion from legacy systems to SAP, ensuring data integrity.
Provide expertise on product interchangeability, supersession, and classification of materials.
Key Requirements
7+ years of experience in deploying SAP Material Master solutions with deep understanding of the material master structure and configuring data for various business scenarios.
3+ years of deploying SAP solutions in the manufacturing industry, particularly within production planning.
At least 3 end-to-end full lifecycle SAP implementations
At least one implementation with leading material master data conversion from legacy systems to SAP including configuration of the tools, and troubleshooting and support
S4/HANA implementation experience
Experience with Document Info Records and document management systems in SAP.
Secret clearance required
Must be local to St. Louis and willing to work onsite 5 days per week, willing to relocate to St. Louis or willing to travel 100% to St. Louis
Desired Skills
Experience in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry or with A&D clients
Strong understanding of product interchangeability, classification, and characteristics (FFFC).
Experience leading blueprint design workshops with cross-functional stakeholders
Experience in greenfield implementations
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. Accenture Federal Services offers a wide variety of benefits. Benefits information is available from the recruiter upon request. The pay range for the states listed is: $126,300 — $243,100 USD
