Overview
Voltage is expanding with a new U.S. production facility in NC — and we’re looking for a Global Sourcing Director to lead our global procurement and supply chain strategy. This role is both strategic and hands-on, building a world-class sourcing team while personally driving supplier negotiations and partnerships across the U.S., Asia, Europe, and South America. Reports to:

Full-time / Exempt Responsibilities
Lead global sourcing for solar connectors, cables, inverters, solar panels, BESS products, production equipment, services, and logistics. Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing global procurement team. Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing structures, and delivery commitments across multiple regions. Establish and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality, compliance, and performance. Develop multi-sourcing strategies to minimize risk and enhance supply chain resilience. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and production teams to align sourcing decisions with technical and business requirements. Implement logistics optimization strategies to improve delivery reliability and cost efficiency. Drive measurable results in cost savings, supplier performance, and on-time delivery. Qualifications
10+ years of progressive experience in global sourcing or procurement; renewable energy, manufacturing, or electronics industry background strongly preferred. Strong negotiation skills with suppliers in the U.S., Asia, Europe, and South America. Deep knowledge of logistics, international trade regulations, customs, and supplier compliance. Data-driven, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication and relationship management skills. Preferred Qualifications
Experience recruiting in the renewable energy, manufacturing, or technical sectors. Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in recruitment. Physical Requirements
Work is performed in an office environment with occasional travel internationally (25%-35%).
