Overview
The IT Developer will support the creation of an Intranet HUB SharePoint Site and support the Digital Services SharePoint unit to design and develop a SharePoint portal unifying various existing SharePoint sites. In addition, this Developer will develop other sites as requested, respond and resolve SharePoint related issues, assist with the development of a governance structure, develop best practices and create training materials and conduct training for site owners and end users on site ownership and knowledge transfer activities to staff members.
Minimum Job-Specific Skills/Qualifications Required
Master’s degree in information technology, computer science, or similar related field.
Minimum of 10 years as a SharePoint developer, architect or site administrator
Extensive knowledge in Windows operating systems, PowerBI, PowerShell, Office365, SharePoint, Power Automate.
Extensive knowledge with SharePoint tools, workflows, PowerApps, and Form development.
Experience with Cloud and Hybrid SharePoint deployments.
Experience as a Project Manager
Experience with developing SharePoint site templates, lists, libraries, workflows, and various site collections.
Experience in developing SharePoint training materials and conducting training classes for large audiences for site owners and users.
Additional Skills/Qualifications Desired
Ability to manage multiple projects and site development simultaneously.
Ability to define governance and security structures.
Must have exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work with various stakeholders.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Be detailed, focused and self-motivating, flexible, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment.
