Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR. Performs Nuclear Medicine examinations for diagnostic and therapeutic (site specific) purposes under the direction of a physician. Prepares patient, prepares and administers prescribed dose of radioactive pharmaceuticals and non-radioactive pharmaceuticals, performs calculations and manipulates data according to established parameters. Ensures proper preparation and/or ordering of radioactive material, calibrates equipment, assures appropriate quality control, monitors patients and performs other duties as assigned. Perform Nuclear Medicine examinations for diagnostic and therapeutic (site specific) purposes under the direction of a physician. Prepare patient, prepare and administer prescribed doses of radioactive and non-radioactive pharmaceuticals. Perform calculations and manipulate data according to established parameters. Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
