Sr Software Engineer to work with other software engineers, network and systems engineers to craft, implement, and deploy software which meet customer requirements, scales easily, removes the limitations of traditional networking solutions, and supports deployment in highly available environments. Participate in architecture and design of various software components; craft applications leveraging technologies such as virtualization, micro services, SDN, NFV, and Big Data platforms and technologies. Work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative; understand implications of work and make recommendations for solutions. Drives engineering projects by developing software solutions; conducting tests and inspections; preparing reports and calculations; supervise base and associate level engineers as needed. Interact with system engineers to define system requirements for automation; independently develop a full software stack; understand building blocks, interactions, dependencies, and tools required to complete software and automation work. Collaborate with technical teams to deliver technical solutions; continuously learn and teach others existing and new technologies; contribute to mentoring and in-house workshops. Education and Experience
PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS:
Master\'s degree in information systems and management, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology and Communications Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related, and 3 years of relevant work experience. ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor\'s degree in information systems and management, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology and Communications Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related, and 5 years of relevant work experience. Work Experience : 4-7 years Technical engineering experience. (Required) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Compensation domain experience required (4-6 years preferred). Proven experience in programming languages: Shell Scripting, and SQL (T-SQL, PLSQL) in building database applications that operate at scale. Experience in testing, quality and change management methodologies. Expert knowledge of relational database design and support for on-prem and cloud services (Oracle, MS SQL, RDS). Experience with ETL methodologies and tools (PowerCenter). Coding in a DevOps environment within a SCRUM framework to deliver Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery automations for market growth. Benefits and Compensation : Base Pay Range: $113,600 - $205,000; Corporate Bonus Target: 15%. The pay range above is for a successful candidate in the role and may vary based on location, qualifications, and experience. Annual bonuses/applications may apply as described by role and location.
