Alpha Public Schools is seeking an Academic Interventionist to support learners through small-group pullouts, data-informed decisions, and behavior management in partnership with the lead teacher. Responsibilities

Schedule and execute small group instructional pullouts for learners in the classroom or grade level assigned Analyze data and conduct assessments to track student intervention progress and make informed decisions Support establishing and maintaining standards of student behavior for a productive learning environment during class sessions Execute classroom management plan, behavior intervention plans, and incentive systems in collaboration with the lead teacher Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED required (AA degree preferred) or completion of two years of college (72 quarter hours or 48 semester hours) 1+ years of experience working with students Excellent knowledge of child development and educational practices (preferred) Commitment to working with students in traditionally underserved communities (approximately 80% of Alpha’s students are from under-resourced communities; many are first-generation college students, with a significant Latinx and Vietnamese student population) Ability to receive coaching and feedback as part of professional growth What we offer
