Assistant Store Manager, Jewelry Consultant, Sales Support and Inventory Control Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day operations of a single store to achieve sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, inventory control, brand representation, and team member growth and development to maximize store results. Use personal selling, leadership, and coaching to champion a People First store environment that promotes diversity and inclusion, develops lifetime relationships with customers, and delivers a best-in-class customer experience. Communicate performance expectations and ensure all team members understand the impact of their performance on company success. Coach staff to instill understanding of brand image and ensure consistent representation in customer interactions, store visuals, and marketing. Support and communicate corporate initiatives and execute plans to produce desired results. Clarify strategy and processes to staff and ensure goals are achievable. Deliver an exceptional customer experience by training, customer outreach, and clear expectations; empower team members to resolve customer issues within established parameters; follow up to drive customer satisfaction. Attain sales projections and quotas, analyze reports, identify trends and opportunities, and develop plans to address issues. Foster cross-site collaboration with other Signet stores to share best practices. Motivate, persuade, and influence others; maintain professionalism and integrity in all customer and team interactions. Employee Experience & Diversity

Oversee talent selection and development to drive store growth; provide onboarding and ongoing coaching in operations, sales, product knowledge, inventory control, and visual merchandising. Respond promptly to management directives, merchandise transfers, inventories, and information requests; maintain store cleanliness and compliance with company policies. Achieve outstanding sales performance and margin control, including managing discounts, expenses, payroll, and repairs; schedule to optimize business needs, including opening and closing shifts, weekdays and weekends as required by sales demand and coaching needs. Typical hours: five-day, 40-hour work week during non-peak periods; increased hours during peak periods. Position Qualifications
Education: Minimum of 2 years of college preferred. Experience: At least 3 years of retail sales experience, or 2 years of retail sales plus 1 year of retail management experience. Preference for candidates with specialty retail or jewelry experience; DCA certification is preferred. Technical/Other Skills: Advanced communication skills (written and verbal); proficient with computers, MS Office, and related tools; strong interpersonal, presentation, problem-solving, and conflict management skills; ability to communicate professionally via email, social media, video, telephony, and text; ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and delegate; reliable and dependable. Languages: Bilingual skills are a plus. Physical Demands
Regularly required to communicate with others and visually assess merchandise; stand, reach, move between display cases, and handle merchandise; may sit, stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch as needed. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Visual acuity required for gemstone evaluation. Standard workweek includes weekends, evenings, and extended hours. Travel may be required for training and meetings. Compensation & EEO
Base pay, $30.05 – $40.70 plus commission on sales. Final pay rate is based on experience and qualifications.
