Overview
(Senior) Industry Specialist - Global Health at IFC, World Bank Group. IFC is the largest global development institution focused on the private sector in emerging markets and supports health sector initiatives through advisory programs and investment activities. The Global Health unit leads sector strategy and provides advisory services in health services, life sciences and medtech to strengthen health systems and catalyze private sector participation. IFC’s Global Health unit works to deliver sector input across all stages of project organization, including due diligence on sector risks such as quality and ethical conduct, and to coordinate with the World Bank Group to inform reforms. The Global Health Advisory Program provides guidance to enhance healthcare quality, efficiency and access through specialized tools and approaches for digital transformation, benchmarking, resource efficiency and decarbonization, and other initiatives to strengthen health systems in developing countries. To support growth of this business, IFC is seeking a Health Industry Specialist with rich experience in health services, life sciences and medtech to lead advisory initiatives within the Global Health unit.
