Learning and Development Business Partner

Airbus is seeking a Learning and Development Business Partner to join our team in Mobile, AL. The role supports learning and development topics for an assigned business area, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations (FAA, EASA, Transport Canada, OSHA, etc.) and to drive training schedules, databases and programs for the U.S. Manufacturing Facility. The primary objective is to enable business performance and help our people reach excellence in their field. The Learning and Development Business Partner contributes to the creation of common learning, development, awareness and knowledge solutions to deploy a continuous learning and self-directed development culture for all of Airbus.

Responsibilities

Learning and Development Partnership (40%)

Understand the overall business strategy in order to develop a tailored-learning strategy for the assigned business-unit

Support the dc learning paths for assigned business units

Collaborate with the Airbus Academy and business-unit subject matter experts to create common learning, development, and knowledge solutions

Deploy instructional design solutions (e.g., action-mapping, learning needs assessments, learning effectiveness methodologies)

Support deployment and upskilling of Airbus learning tools and processes

Propose development recommendations and actions to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities

Act as a consultant to the business, ensuring compliance with internal/external regulatory policy requirements

Define learning objectives and materials to implement performance pre-assessments

Maintain relevant certifications in learning management systems in line with Quality Management Systems

Support FAL employees\' training and evaluation on required skills per company standards

Competence Strategy Deployment (30%)

Partner with the business unit to deploy Airbus and business-level competence strategy

Provide visibility on job profiles, competence assessments and learning deployment progress via KPIs

Contribute to competence assessment campaigns and provide learning recommendations

Identify risks and opportunities and translate them into impacts on jobs and competences

Learning Process, Policy, and Procedure Improvement (20%)

Manage the jobs and competences referential with the Academies in Europe

Harmonize referential catalogs with FAL\'s business

Support trainer qualification and availability aligned to learning priorities

Build a trusted network with stakeholders and manage milestones

Establish sustainable stakeholder networks and involve decision makers appropriately

Other Responsibilities (10%)

Your Boarding Pass — Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Instructional Design, Human Resource Development or related field OR equivalent experience

Master\'s degree or other post-secondary education in HR, Instructional Design, or HR Development preferred

Minimum 3 years of Human Resource Development experience with exposure to Learning and Development topics (required) or 2 years with a Master\'s degree

Experience with both hourly and salaried client groups

Manufacturing environment experience or similar fast-paced industry preferred

Experience with skills and competence management strongly preferred

Up to 5% domestic and 5% international travel

G Suite and Microsoft products knowledge

Authorized to Work in the US

Onsite role: 100% FAL Mobile Manufacturing Site

Vision, Hearing, Speaking, Equipment Operation, Carrying, Lifting, Pushing/Pulling, Sitting, Squatting/Kneeling, Standing, Travel, Walking

Travel within the Americas and Europe; PPE requirements for shop floor visits
