Senior Product Manager - Credit, Pricing, & Data Sciences
This role focuses on driving the evolution of a portfolio of modernizing capabilities aligned to a common set of objectives that advances OneMain Financial’s core lending business. The Senior Product Manager is responsible for creating and executing the product roadmap to achieve business objectives such as growth in new money, reduction in costs, and transitioning to a modernized, scalable target-state tech platform. The role requires consistent engagement and clear communication with senior executives and frontline stakeholders to build consensus and drive decisions. The Senior Product Manager will partner with Engineering Leads to drive the technical agenda and workforce in delivering the Product roadmap, building strong relationships and fostering open dialogue to drive informed decisions that align with business objectives and improve cross-functional team performance.
Responsibilities:
Work with business and engineering leadership to develop, document, and communicate OKRs, ensuring alignment with the broader business strategy.
Create and maintain a clear and actionable product roadmap that balances short-term objectives with long-term goals while prioritizing initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and level of effort.
Manage the software development life cycle for the respective team by creating high-level themes/epics, developing detailed product requirements via user stories, managing the product backlog, planning feature/product releases, and ensuring work is aligned with delivery of the OKRs. Proactively manage and mitigate risks.
Be an active part of a high-performing product organization, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Collaborate cross-functionally, maintain a deep understanding of competitive dynamics, and ensure product development is aligned with market needs and capabilities.
Regularly update executive teams on product performance, including challenges and successes, using key performance indicators. Make data-driven recommendations for product enhancements to business and technical stakeholders as needed.

Experience:
5+ years of progressive experience in a plan, build and/or product/operation role in a high-performing, technology-powered product organization. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Location & Hybrid Work:
This role is Hybrid. You should be located within a commutable distance to one of our offices located in New York, NY; Wilmington, DE; or Baltimore, MD with the expectation to be in the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Compensation:
Target base salary for Baltimore, MD and New York, NY is $120k-$140k, which is based on various factors including skills, work experience, and location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a competitive additional compensation program that is based on individual and company performance.
