is seeking a
Lead Senior Systems Engineer (Network)
to provide advanced technical expertise and leadership in the design, implementation, and management of enterprise network systems. This role requires in-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN environments, network hardware, and modern communication technologies. The Engineer will be responsible for ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient network designs that meet mission-critical requirements in DoD environments. This is not a remote position. Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of LAN/WAN networks in enterprise environments. Configure and manage networking technologies including Cisco, Juniper, TCP/IP, and VoIP. Design, install, and support routers, switches, firewalls, fiber optics, and cable plant systems. Ensure network systems are secure, resilient, and compliant with DoD and industry standards. Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and optimization of network infrastructure. Provide technical oversight for system integration, capacity planning, and performance tuning. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate operational requirements into technical solutions. Prepare system documentation, design diagrams, and reports using network design best practices. Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff in networking disciplines. Required Experience
At least 6 years of professional work and leadership experience in: Design and implementation of LAN/WAN corporate environments Configuration and management of Cisco, Juniper, TCP/IP, and VoIP technologies Network hardware (routers, switches, fiber optics, firewalls) and cable plant designs Must hold Information Assurance Technician (IAT) III certification.
