Overview
lbukun Comprehensive Community Services is seeking a dedicated Program Director to lead the operations of our 24/7 therapeutic group home for at-risk youth ages 14-19. This is a hands-on leadership position that requires a consistent and visible presence within the home to ensure structure, safety, and therapeutic integrity.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations and therapeutic programming in alignment with treatment goals
Create and manage residential schedules, milieu calendars, and monthly programming themes
Develop and maintain high-quality reports, documentation, and compliance records
Supervise and support direct care staff, ensuring adherence to agency and Medicaid standards
Provide crisis intervention and ensure a safe, trauma-informed environment
Collaborate with clinical leadership and external partners to support youth development
Qualifications
Master\'s degree in a relevant field such as social work, counseling, psychology, human services or behavioral health
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in residential or group home settings
Licensed clinicians preferred (e.g., LCSW, LCPC, Licensed Psychologist)
Strong computer skills in documentation, reporting, and program planning
Must be at least 25 years old with a valid Illinois driver\'s license
Ability to pass DCFS fingerprint background checks and maintain insurance documentation
