We are partnering with a leading private equity fund based in
San Francisco , focused on investing in and scaling
technology and technology-enabled businesses
across North America. The firm has a proven track record of driving growth, digital transformation, and operational excellence in its portfolio companies. Known for its hands-on investment approach, collaborative culture, and deep sector expertise, the team works closely with founders and management to unlock long-term value.
Position Overview The fund is seeking an
Associate to Vice President (depending on experience)
to join its San Francisco office. This is an exceptional opportunity for an investment professional with
3+ years of experience (including at least 1 year in private equity)
to gain end-to-end deal exposure, from origination through exit, while working directly with senior investors, portfolio company executives, and leading advisors.
Key Responsibilities
Support and lead deal execution, including due diligence, valuation, financial modelling, industry research, and transaction structuring
Conduct in-depth market and sector analyses to identify attractive technology investment opportunities
Prepare and present investment memoranda and recommendations to the investment committee
Partner with leadership on value creation initiatives, including go-to-market strategy, operational improvements, and M&A integration
Monitor portfolio performance, tracking both financial and operational KPIs
Build and maintain strong relationships with bankers, advisors, founders, and industry experts to support deal origination and execution
Ideal Candidate Profile
3+ years of professional experience , including
at least 1 year in private equity
(Associate to VP level considered based on experience)
Background in
investment banking (M&A or technology coverage) , management consulting, or private equity with a strong focus on technology deals
Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills with proven deal execution experience
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable working in lean deal teams with direct senior exposure
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field (top-tier university preferred); MBA or advanced degree a plus
Passion for technology investing and supporting founders in scaling high-growth businesses
