Base pay range $53.00/hr - $57.00/hr
Key Responsibilities
As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will help evaluate and improve the supplier component quality of high precision, machined parts.
Coordinate supplier quality resolution activities to support production quality issues or Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on part failures.
Ensure compliance with RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) regulations and manage the qualification of new suppliers.
Minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant experience with – Fabrication techniques for mechanical parts - high precision machining (CNC milling & turning), assembly, and finishing.
Experience and ability to utilize and interpret 2D & 3D CAD data effectively.
Understanding of GD&T.
Education & Experience
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or other related science discipline.
Familiarity with mechanical design practices, techniques, and tradeoffs.
Experience interfacing with suppliers.
