Perform advanced data analytics to uncover insights that inform strategic initiatives and drive improvements in member care and Quality performance Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed analytics into business strategies and deliver data-driven solutions to complex challenges Communicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains Support data acquisition, integration, and preparation to enable robust and scalable analytics workflows Analyze and interpret drivers of quality trends, including observation bias, metric changes, operational shifts, and industry developments Initiate and foster innovative approaches to problem-solving, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement Integrate diverse data sources with domain knowledge in healthcare and government policy to develop and present impactful business recommendations Required qualifications
3+ years of professional experience in developing analytical solutions using techniques such as machine learning, text mining/analysis, simulations, hypothesis testing, etc. 3+ years of professional experience with Python 3+ years of professional experience applying data analysis to solve business problems 2+ years of professional experience communicating analytic results to stakeholders Self-motivated and demonstrates an innate ability to absorb new concepts, technical frameworks, and program paradigms while employing them creatively to solve complex analytical problems Critical thinker with the ability to evaluate merits of new and innovative ideas and make sound decisions Preferred qualifications
Experience with Medicare Advantage products or the healthcare industry Strong communication skills; comfortable presenting program objectives, processes, and performance in multiple settings Relationship-building skills with internal and practice teams to drive goal alignment All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy Compensation & benefits
Salary range for this role is $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. Benefits include a comprehensive package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (eligibility applies). Additional information
