Staff Business Architect – Transformation Lead

at Ford Motor Company. Lead business and technology transformations to establish and evolve new capabilities that support Ford’s electric vehicle vision. Define key problem statements, design new operating models and processes, and integrate these with existing infrastructure through cross-functional collaboration. Your leadership will be crucial in closing capability gaps and enabling continuous improvement as EVDD tools converge with legacy Ford systems. Responsibilities

Own and deliver end-to-end transformation initiatives to establish new business capabilities supporting ADVEV objectives Lead cross-functional teams spanning Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, Supply Chain, Logistics and more to drive change in processes, tools and people Apply strategic thinking and create influence without authority when leading transformations Define clear problem statements to develop current state and future state operating models using process mapping techniques Identify stakeholders and conduct discovery phases, uncover bottlenecks and pain points; develop actionable solutions Manage stakeholder relationships; prioritize competing needs and scope transformation projects accordingly Apply well-formulated strategies to drive decision-making and accountability Facilitate business process acceptance and ensure smooth adoption of changes Control project scope within dynamic conditions to meet timeline, cost, and quality goals Analyze impacts of change vs inaction, identify risks and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies Incorporate organizational change management including communication, training and rollout of process/tool changes Maintain flexibility and agility to adapt to evolving stakeholder needs and organizational priorities Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience Minimum 8 years of experience in business architecture, transformation, or consulting roles within organizations designing and manufacturing complex hardware products; automotive industry experience preferred Proven track record of driving system improvements related to PLM, ERP, and MES systems (experience with 3DX/Catia preferred) Strong ownership mindset, analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills Expertise in requirements elicitation, translation, and traceability throughout project lifecycles Experience managing cross-functional teams and balancing diverse stakeholder priorities Excellent communication skills and ability to influence and build consensus across departments Knowledge of organizational change management principles and practices Familiarity with tools like 3DX and domains such as BOM management, virtual/physical validation, product lifecycle management, and supply chain is a plus Benefits
