Pediatric Anesthesiologists
(board-certified/board-eligible) to join our team of 40+ physicians. We offer both full-time and part-time positions at
Maine Medical Center (MMC) , a 700-bed tertiary hospital and Level One Trauma Center, with residency, adult cardiothoracic fellowship, and academic opportunities.
About this role
Competitive Compensation:
Average shareholder compensation of $550k. Start on a 2-year shareholder track with the goal of reaching shareholder pay in just one year.

Unique practice model combining private practice and academics.
Staffing ratio of 1:2 with residents, 1:3 with CRNAs; case mix is 35% pediatrics / 65% adult.
Call schedule: one weekend/month, one weekday/week.
Our pediatric anesthesia group performs over 3,500 anesthetics annually, with specialized partners in pediatric surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, ENT, and cardiac surgery.
Qualifications
ABA board certification and Pediatric Anesthesiology Boards required within 4 years of employment.
The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital, Maine's premier pediatric referral hospital, with 116 beds including NICU, nursery, and PICU beds.
Provide anesthesia at MMC’s inpatient hospital, outpatient surgery, and imaging centers.
Experience with complex neurosurgical repairs, neonatal surgery, airway reconstructions, cath lab procedures, and pediatric services. Cardiac bypass case interest and additional training is a plus.
Engage in education and research as clinical faculty at Tufts University School of Medicine, contributing to MMC’s residency and quality improvement initiatives.
