Join the elite trauma team at a nationally recognized Level I Trauma Center. We\'re seeking a
locums orthopedic trauma surgeon
to provide expert surgical care and on-call trauma support for a high-acuity, high-volume service.
Hospital Highlights
Level I Adult Trauma Center
serving Missouri and Illinois
Daily trauma census of
35–45 patients
2–3 dedicated orthopedic trauma ORs
daily
Strong support team including
residents, NPs, and clinical trauma nurses
Access to
fellowship-trained orthopedic traumatologists
EMR:
Epic
Clinical Scope Includes
High-energy fractures, polytrauma, and periarticular injuries
Ilizarov techniques, pelvic/acetabular reconstruction
Advanced hindfoot, ankle, and limb deformity correction
No elective clinic unless requested
Job Details
Shifts : 24-hour call; frequency flexible
Support : In-house backup from trauma fellows and residents
Credentialing : Streamlined for locums; malpractice provided
Housing and travel : Covered
